The change must start at the top!

My dear friend Dragan Milosevic has a saying that the boundaries of development of any organization are strictly determined by the bounded rationality and mental models of its key decision-makers. I couldn't agree more with this prophetic observation. We keep seeing organizations with great competencies and abundant resources that are severely underutilized. Their potential remains untapped due to inability of the key decision-makers to finally grasp the situation and admit that the problem is within them. Therefore, the decision-makers need to change themselves in order to enable their organizations to achieve its full potential. The change must start at the top!
