Ivan Stefanovic

Ivan is a Management Consultant with 20 years of experience in strategy development, organization design, organizational change, business process design and improvement, business architecture, and performance management.
He has worked across a range of industries, including banking, oil and gas, gaming, telecommunications, etc. In addition to his work in the private sector, Ivan has also partnered with government institutions and non-profit organizations.
He has a proven track record of leading and supporting both large-scale and smaller transformation initiatives that have delivered significant strategic shifts, operational improvements, and cost reductions. Much of his work focuses on designing, facilitating, and driving change using empirically tested methodologies that ensure strong employee engagement and sustainable results.
Ivan is also an experienced manager and executive who has led teams of various sizes and held full strategic and operational accountability for organizational performance. He has also acted as a trusted advisor to business owners and senior executives. In parallel with his consulting work, Ivan has extensive experience as a mentor and educator, delivering academic and professional courses and workshops on strategic management, organization design, organizational change, and performance improvement.
He holds a BSc and MSc in Management, as well as a PhD in Strategy and Organization from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences. His doctoral dissertation, titled “Strategic and Structural Aspects of Organizational Adaptation under Conditions of Discontinuity”, explored how organizations respond to turbulent and uncertain environments. He has published numerous articles on strategy and organizational structure and is the author of the monograph “Strategies of Organizations in a Discontinuous Environment”.
Ivan is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Business Architect, Certified Performance Management Professional, and a Change Management Practitioner.
